Camp Bestival brings a taste of its much-loved family festival to Dreamland with a full park take over

Expect live music, rides, and entertainment for all the family to enjoy over the school holidays.

Camp Bestival took Margate by storm in April 2019 when it set up camp at Dreamland, with more than 100,000 visitors travelling to the park over the spring school holidays. And this year’s takeover promises to be even bigger and brighter.

Step into Camp Bestival’s Travelling Circus as Dreamland is transformed with extravagant bunting and festoon decorations, confetti canon, and carnival caravans – curated by festival co-founders Josie and Rob da Bank. Families will get the chance to watch incredible performances by Circus Raj, featuring a cast of aerialists, acrobats, musicians, slack-rope walkers, and giant puppets moving through the park in a colourful extravaganza of intrigue, drama, music, laughter and surprise.

Also appearing on the main stage will be Brillig, a wonky, bonkers, and totally baffling gameshow that pits families against families in a fun-filled frenzy. Around the park, guests can dive into nature workshops, join arts and crafts groups, dance at a family rave, and generally go crazy down by the sea.

And once again, guests can join the unmissable Camp Bestival Easter Sunday Party on 12th April, with a family rave, live music and very special headline acts to be announced soon…

Camp Bestival curators, Josie and Rob da Bank said: “In a mad world of uncertainty and flux, places like Dreamland are just the tonic for an escapist, magical break from reality. We love this place so much we decided to come back and take it over in our inimitable Camp B style. It’s gonna be a colourful, kaleidoscopic trip… See you on the rides!”

Taking place on 30th July – 2nd August 2020, Camp Bestival have revealed mega headliners for 2020 including Fatboy Slim, Groove Armada and pop superstar Liam Payne, and Dick & Dom, Brainiac Live, Max and Harvey for all the family. Not forgetting the array of comedy, arts, wellbeing, activities, foodie delights and wonderous workshops on offer for kids of all ages.
