The Light - Streetfood, cinema, retro arcade and luxury bowl to open in Sittingbourne
The Light has announced the opening of its latest venue in Sittingbourne on Friday 28th May
Incorporating a state-of-the-art cinema, nine lane luxury bowl, retro arcade and street food dining experience, the venue is part of the new Bourne Place leisure quarter, being developed by U+I.
The diner boasts two street food style offers, PITTSBURGER and Fratellis pizza, while guests can start the day with a coffee made by baristas in Coffee Cabana, or choose from their exciting range of waffles, ice-cream and milkshakes. Their fully stocked bar also includes locally brewed ales from Faversham’s Mad Cat Brewery plus a range of expertly crafted cocktails and mocktails.
Chill out in the Treehouse, American Diner, Snug, or Bowling Bar and keep an eye out for line-up from live music, DJs and club meets through to quizzes, kids’ activities and film nights.

The eight-screen cinema includes state-of-the-art screens, sound and seats letting guests choose from full-length loungers, spacious armchairs or electric recliners. For those who want a more intimate experience, some recliners can even be turned into love seats by lifting the centre arm, letting guests snuggle into the perfect movie.
To top it all off, downstairs they have nine luxury bowling lanes and retro arcade, with classics like Mario Kart, NBA Hoops and Terminator and even an original James Bond: Golden Eye pinball machine.
Launching soon, their myLight Premiere membership lets movie lovers watch all the films they can handle while getting discounts across the venue for the special introductory price of £14.99 per month for the next few months.
