Margate restaurant up for National Takeaway Award
Day’s Grills is up against outlets from Hastings, Southend-on-Sea and Witney
Based in The Centre, Margate, Day’s Grills has been shortlisted in the South-East section of the British Takeaway Awards, Sponsored by Just Eat.
The outlet, which is home to the BIG MATT BURGER (27 oz. Beef Patties, Cheese, Onions, Pickles, Lettuce & Big Matt Sauce), allows customers to build their own burger before ordering a delivery or collection.
The team took to social media to say: “Thank you so much for your votes, I am so overwhelmed and appreciate everyone for helping us to become what we have today 💕💕💕#goodvibesonly #upthegrill #daysgrills”
All businesses shortlisted were voted for by customers with Day's Grills in with a chance of bagging the South East title and pocketing a cool £1,000.
However, the overall winners of the top prize will be crowned Best Takeaway in Britain and a prize of £5,000.
