Canterbury Wine Festival 2022 this Saturday 25th June
The festival will be showcasing more than 25 local wines

Westgate Hall in Canterbury will invite wine explorers and lovers to celebrate Kent’s wines, this Saturday 25th June.
Coinciding with English Wine Week, Kent’s top producers - among the finest in Europe - will be on show for the second ever Canterbury Wine Festival™.
Presented by Westgate Community Trust and Master of Wine Clive Barlow, the festival will bring Kent’s unique terroir to the city centre as it showcases over 25 local wines. Multi-awarding wine producers, such as Simpsons Wine Estate, Balfour Hush Heath, Biddenden and Chartham, newer producers, including Heppington and Wayfarer, as well as the Wine Garden of England, will illustrate its diversity.
Visitors will receive a very warm welcome, as the wine producers guide guests through the wines on offer and share the incredible story of Kent’s viticulture.
During one of two three-hour bookable sessions (£35pp), enthusiasts will be able to sip and sample their way around Kent’s vineyards and talk to the wine makers themselves.
Canterbury Wine Festival™ co-host and renowned wine expert Clive Barlow - one of only 384 Masters of Wine in the world – is offering an additional 45-minute Masterclass experience with wines curated by him to introduce the unique qualities of Kent wine (£20pp). Wines will be available to buy by the bottle on the day, to take home and enjoy.
