Maidstone bar announces partnership with the Kentish Lady River Boat to offer a gin cruise on the River Medway

New Maidstone bar, Kent Drinks Co. has announced a partnership with the Kentish Lady River Boat to offer a gin cruise on the River Medway on Friday 8th July.

Taking place on the Kentish Lady from 6.30pm, gin lovers can enjoy a cruise along the River Medway, between Maidstone and Allington Lock, while trying three gins from local distilleries.

The three gins on offer include:

- Ranscombe Wild Gin from Maidstone Distillery: A multi award-winning floral gin created using local botanicals from Ranscombe Farm, near Cuxton. Maidstone Distillery donates over 2.5% from the sales of each bottle to Plantlife to support their conservation work.

- Dockyard Gin from Copper Rivet Distillery, Chatham: Copper Rivet Distillery is based right on the River Medway in Chatham. Dockyard Gin is a dry gin with subtle citrus hints and spicy aromatic flavours.

- Strawberry Fool Gin from Kingpin Spirits, East Farleigh: Strawberry Fool is a relatively new gin. Formerly known as Hunton Spirits, Kingpin Distillery is a small distillery based in East Farleigh. Kingpin Spirits distiller Rich, will also join the Kent Drinks Co. team onboard to talk you through this gin.

Afterwards, guests can head to the brand Kent Drinks Co. bar, located in Love Food @ Lockmeadow, to receive 10% off their first round.

Kent Drinks Co., which opened on 30th April in the new food hall in Lockmeadow, champions Kentish products supporting local brewers, vineyards and distillers. Guests can expect alcoholic drinks from local producers including Maidstone Distillery, Anno Distillers, Copper River Distillery, Dudda’s Tun, Curious Brewery, Chapel Down, and Balfour Wines, as well as a number of soft drinks and non-alcoholic options.

Kent Drinks Co. also runs private in-person spirit tastings which can be held indoor or outdoor at a venue of your choice, where a member of the team will talk you and your party through each spirit. Customers can opt for two packages, offering three or four Kent spirits to taste with your preferred mixers, priced from £20 per person.
