The first ever KentBizFest arrives - aimed at new entrepreneurs
The Kent Foundation charity provides free business support to Kent’s young entrepreneurs and business owners (18-30)
The Kent Foundation is a unique Charity (Registered Charity No. 291559) that provides free business support and mentoring to Kent’s young entrepreneurs and business owners (18-30).
The group recruit and train leaders from the Kent business community to become volunteer mentors who then support the next generation of business owners in Kent.
During the last year, the Kent Foundation has supported more than 150 businesses which have achieved over £4m in sales through what has been an extremely challenging period.
KentBizFest 2021 on 12th October sees the doors open for The Kent Foundation’s rebranded annual networking event (previously ABlast!) with an incredible mix of exhibition space, networking, interviews and amazing guest speakers.
It’s a fantastic opportunity for Kent’s established business community to come together to celebrate Kent’s young business owners and entrepreneurs.
So what’s new for 2021? There is a new venue - Coachworks in Ashford, with easy access from the train station and by road! Plus the foundation is partnering with Reward Events which specialise in sustainable events to help deliver the best (and greenest!) KentBizFest ever.
Headline guest speakers include Frazer Thompson, Founder of Chapel Down, on the ‘Main Stage’ along with Stuart Tanton, Director of The Kent Foundation as well as some inspirational young business owners sharing their thoughts on the challenges of the last 18 months and how they got through it.
Plus! Thinking of starting a business? Or need some advice? Whether it’s guidance on getting started or you want to know more about funding, legal advice or marketing, the team of Kent Foundation Volunteer Business Mentors will also be available at the ‘Fire Pit’ throughout the evening to help with any burning questions you may have!
