Notorious B.R.G opens second Kent site at Maidstone's new Lockmeadow food court
The second Notorious B.R.G at Love Food @ Lockmeadow will open to the public at 7pm, Tuesday 2nd November 2021
Notorious B.R.G will be opening as one of eight new restaurants in the new food court in the long established Lockmeadow Complex.
The restaurant will be the first restaurant in Maidstone to offer every single item on the menu for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. Everything from a vegan “Mac Daddy” burger to vegan duck loaded fries. The restaurant stocks a variety of the best brand name vegan cheeses, beyond vegan patties and vegan brioche buns made specially for us in France to ensure our vegan items are of the highest quality.
Notorious BRG Canterbury (@notoriousbrg_) has been open since 2019 and has gone from strength to strength, often battling for the top spot of best restaurant on TripAdvisor in Canterbury, and featuring as the top-rated restaurant on Deliveroo in the area, too.
Raised in Maidstone, Jonny Wall moved to Canterbury to launch Notorious B.R.G with co-owner Kashi Francis. Jonny has now moved back to his hometown of Maidstone to launch their second site.
The restaurant will be serving burgers, mac ‘n’ cheese, loaded fries, nachos, beer and soft drinks. The ingredients are sourced locally where possible including beef from award winning local butchers in Canterbury. Doing things properly is at Notorious’ core, for instance making nachos in house which most high-end Mexican restaurants don’t even do.
The menu will include the Notorious B.R.G - their signature burger, Notorious P.I.G - a burger with BBQ pulled pork, the Mac Daddy - a burger loaded with mac ‘n’ cheese, El Pollo - the notorious chicken burger, La Primera - the spicy burger and the Notorious V.E.G - the original headline vegan burger.
