Ashford’s Italian food gurus Unità 4 (@unita.4) has announced the launch of its first ever Pasta Festival on July 16th.

With the aim of bringing fresh, homemade, authentic Italian cooking to Ashford and beyond, the team at Unità 4 are looking to bring the knowledge during the event.

Customers will have the chance to sample 3 different pastas and learn more about regional pasta dishes, as well as the place that pasta holds at the dinner table for every Italian family.

“We want to show our customers that whether it’s the family dinner or date night with that special someone, homemade pasta is the ultimate way to show the people closest to you that you care. Through this event we want to celebrate the art of making pasta as well as the art of not splashing tomato sauce on your white shirts. “During this all-day event we will be giving our customers the opportunity to sample not just one, but three type of pasta. With a wide range of meat, vegetarian, and vegan options we hope that everyone can be involved in delicious experience.”

There will be demonstrations in the restaurant’s very own workshop as well as a discount on pasta-making classes booked on the day for future use

There will also be Pasta-Kit giveaway for customers to take home to make their own Unità 4 pasta.

Unita 4 will be bringing local beers to the event with an outside beer tap so you can sip at your IPA whilst slurping up your spaghetti in the (hopeful) sun.

The all day event (12pm - 11pm) will take place on July 16th at Unità 4, Elwick place, Ashford.
