Leeds Castle Concert will return with a packed programme for audiences to enjoy live music and entertainment within the historic setting of Leeds Castle, Kent, on Saturday 8th July.

The world-renowned Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will once again be taking to the stage with a little touch of extra suave and sophistication in celebration of the 70th anniversary of James Bond.

A perfect opportunity for Bond fans to celebrate the iconic spy’s legacy, the concert’s finale will have a James Bond theme, with live performances of the most famous theme songs from the Bond series.

Conductor and Artistic Director John Rigby, making his hat-trick as compere.

“The Leeds Castle Concert goes from strength to strength! I think that this year is our most diverse programme yet,” said John. “I cannot wait to share the stage once again with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and our international line-up of soloists for what looks set to be the best party in the Kent social calendar”.

Of course, Bond and his creator Ian Fleming have many close ties to Kent , and the audience is invited to dress to impress for a chance to win a coveted ‘best dressed’ spot prize, a perfect excuse to dig out your glad rags and dancing shoes, or perhaps dress like your favourite bond character.

The concert has confirmed the return of the sensational soloist performances, historical cannons, a spitfire flyover and amazing firework displays, that it has become known for.

Also taking to the stage alongside the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra are solo performers Heagee Lee, Nicky Spence, Tim Howar, and the jaw dropping Jersey boys tribute act Bye Bye Baby.

Completing the line-up is Kent performer Anna-Jane Casey. This will be Anna-Jane’s first appearance at the concert and has a career spanning shows ranging from Cats and Starlight Express to Billy Elliot and Calendar Girls. You won’t want to miss this one, so buy your ticket, grab a blanket and picnic basket and we will guarantee an evening of lasting memories against the backdrop of one of the UK’s finest country castles. “
