Renowned chicken wings slingers and sports bar Wing Kingz will open in Canterbury in early 2024.

The new franchise of the brand will take over the former Yo! Sushi site on Sun Street and will offer its chicken wings alongside live sport on TV.

Last week, the brand took to social media to confirm that the site in Canterbury was ‘coming soon’, with the potential opening date in January.

While its core menu has four types of wings (grilled, buttermilk, boneless and vegan) in wide range of flavours and dipping sauces, burgers and wraps are also available.

Despite only started just over two year ago, Wing Kingz has already become a favourite with professional footballers - signed shirts from the likes of Troy Deeney, Mario Balotelli and Ivan Toney adorn the walls of their other restaurant in Milton Keynes.

The brand has also become known for its ‘Earn your Wings’ hot and spicy wing challenge, which is sure to pique the interest of local foodies.

The brand is already advertising for locals to join the team at its new Canterbury venue with those interested encouraged to email in to careers.canterbury@thewingkingz.co.uk
