UK Hip Hop icon DJ Format to play intimate Whitstable gig
DJ Format will play out at the Coach & Horses in the High Street in April
One of the most renowned Hip Hop DJs in the UK, DJ Format will play out in Whitstable this April.
As part of the monthly music event ‘Know You Are Loved’ at the revitalised Coach & Horses, DJ Format will be playing to an intimate audience.
DJ Format has shown over the last 25 years he is one of Britain’s best vinyl DJs and beat makers, with his album "Music for the Mature B-Boy" proving a game changer for UK Hip Hop.
The regular night, which was created by Kent’s DJ Matshallow, has seen a collective of local DJs come together to play out all styles. On April 19th, DJ Format will also be supported by locals House Of The Rising Funk and Maddie-O.
A night of Funk, Hip Hop, B-Boy Breaks, Global Beats and Latin Soul, this is one not to be missed.
