All of Kent's best wines in one place, on one day.. err, yes please

Balfour, Biddenden, Chapel Down, Gusbourne, Simpsons, Squerryes and Westwell ALL STAR AT Wine Garden of England Summer Celebration IN June 10th

The Wine Garden of England (@winegardenofengland) is a group of the largest wine producers from Kent who work together to encourage wine tourism in the county.

The best way to sample the wine is to visit the vineyards, meet the people behind the label and wander through the vines - it’s no longer necessary to travel to Burgundy or Napa Valley for a top-level experience.

And now the Kent vineyards are coming together for an amazing tasting event so you can meet all the producers and taste their wines in one day.

The Wine Garden of England Summer Celebration is on Saturday, 10 June, at Balfour Winery.

Tickets are just £20, which includes a sample from each of the seven producing members: Balfour, Biddenden, Chapel Down, Gusbourne, Simpsons, Squerryes and Westwell.

Each producer will have their own marquee where you can taste the wines, buy a glass or a bottle to take home. Set among Nanette’s Vineyard at Balfour, you can also book a vineyard tour, a winery tour and a place on the masterclass hosted by Kent’s very own Master of Wine, Clive Barlow. All this with a backdrop of live music and delicious local food cooked by the Balfour chef.

On arrival you’ll be given a tote bag with the latest Wine Garden of England Handbook, a free tasting glass to use throughout the day and some free gifts courtesy of sponsors.

A free shuttle service from Marden station means you can leave the car at home.
