‘Intra Spring’ – Arts event at The Old High Street Intra
The Old High Street Intra, situated between Chatham and Rochester, will host ten days of events
From Life Drawing with Drag Artists to Anime Workshops, Medway-based arts organisation, Sun Pier House is organising its latest art event, “Intra Spring” from 17th-26th March to celebrate all mediums of art throughout The Old High Street Intra (@theoldhighst).
The Old High Street Intra, which is conveniently situated between Chatham and Rochester, will host ten days of events comprising of art, storytelling, comedy, film screenings, open studios, live music, poetry and workshops throughout many of the area’s venues.
Heather Burgess, Founder of Sun Pier House (@sunpierhouse) said: “Intra Spring is a great opportunity to showcase the amazing range of venues on The Old High Street Intra whilst also bringing the community together through creativity and love of the arts.
“Artists and creatives that frequently use our studios at Sun Pier House will be collaborating with local businesses to offermore than 50 different events giving the community a chance to discover work by local artists or to even get involved themselves with a multitude of different activities.”
Produced by Sun Pier House, the Intra Spring project has received £15,000 worth of funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
